I want to create a synonym for a .dat file which has the fields seperated by comma. I have created Windows ODBC connection and formated the dat file. Then I added the ODBC connection into WebFocus Server and try to create synonym. when I click on synonym, I get all the .dat files as Tables. But when I select dat file to create synonym, an error is generated that .dat file does not exist. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
