This may be a silly question, but I am really struggling to figure this one out, so hopefully someone can help.

I have to create a report with multiple drill downs.

I have a field called Request Id in my report,
this field is a 9 digit number.
I need to show at the top level, the number of request id's by Request State Decsription.
When I drill down on Request State Description, I should be able to see the details of the Request id's.

At the highest level- the report shows fine if I use a cnt of request_id's.
The problem is, then I cannot see the request level details when I drill down on Request State Description.

Can anyone tell me how I can make this work?

Looks like you want to do something with OLAP. Its been a long time since I have messed with OLAP. I was able to dig up this example. Maybe someone has a better one. Also I am not 100% sure is the syntax is correct.

When dealing with drilldowns I write a fex for each level of the drilldown I do not use OLAP.

I am trying to use OLAP for the drilldowns.
If there is another way to do it, I am certainly willing to give it a shot.
I really do not like the big arrows the OLAP adds to the report output anyways, and I cannot find a way to make those go away.

I am not an expert on OLAP reports. There are some features you cannot remove or customize. I think you should create seperate fexes for each drilldown.

Have you considered AHTML?
