Hello,

I have a question regarding subtotals. Is it possible to subtotal on 1 field for a by field and have subtotals for 2 fields on a different by field.

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
CAR.CARREC.MODEL
CAR.BODY.BODYTYPE
CAR.BODY.SEATS
CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST
CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST
CAR.BODY.SALES
BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
BY CAR.COMP.CAR

ON CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY SUBTOTAL
'CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST'
'CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST' AS '*TOTAL'

ON CAR.COMP.CAR SUBTOTAL
'CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST' AS '*TOTAL CAR'
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
INCLUDE = endeflt,
$
ENDSTYLE
END

The above mentioned code gives subtotals for both dealer cost and retail cost for both the by fields, which is not what I want.

Subtotalling in the subfoot solves this, but opens a lot of styling issues. My ouputs are in PDF and Excel.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot Dan for the solution.
The subtotalling is working as desired, however the styling is off. The report is running into multiple pages.
Need to work on it.
