Hai all..

We are in idea of shifting from 7.6.4 to 7.6.9.
When is 7.6.9 planned to release? This is will be my 1st upgrade experience as a developer. Please suggest me some issues that should be takes care of this upgrade (or any upgrade generally)as a developer.

Should be smooth if you are upgrading from a vanilla install of 7.6.4.

However, depends on what other components you have installed (MRE, RC, etc.) and if those components are vanilla installs too.

Any customization to vanilla must be considered prior to upgrade.

Give us a bit more info.

Alternatively, IB is in a great position to advise and assist.

They first want to update Sandbox and I am not sure what that exactly means. We have MRE, RC too.
What is Vanilla install of 7.6.4?

Sandbox would refer to a test instance where you would be able to esencially "play" with your applications and test changes.

Vanilla = default install (my terminology). Compared to a custom installation of the components.

Generally, if you follow the Install Plan found in the installation guide, you should be just fine.
