I get the follwoing error when I click on a drill down column (that is not a dimension) in an OLAP report. Note that I get the error only after I have clicked on a BY Column.

"WebFOCUS was called with an invalid request."

The drill down on the column in question works perfectly if all BY columns are displayed in the report (i.e., I am at the top level).

I see that there is an entry already with the same issue - yet unresolved. In the Tech Support page it says check the location of the FEX file. I have checked that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed that the URL on the drilldown column is not the same in the two cases. Here they are

Before clicking on the group by column......

http://ServerName/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_webapp=/ibi_a...6%20Bellefontaine%29

After clicking on the group by column......
http://servername/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_webapp=/ibi_a...6%20Bellefontaine%29

In the second case the following string is missing

"&&IBIMR_drill=X,tmsxuk2y/tmsxuk2y.htm"

Don't know if that helps in any way?

Hi Balram,

Our consultant recommended the following online documentation, which may be of interest:

Hope this helps. If not, then please open a case with Information Builders' Customer Support Services and upload your code for review. To do so, you may either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.

Cheers,

Kerry
