Hey guys -

I have created a define within a synonym and am making a PDF report off of it. I need to wrap the text but it isnt working for any of my define fields. It is working for my regular fields... which I thought was odd.

Below is my code. All the RPT_ columns are defines within the synonym and they dont wrap. If I change them to reference fields it does wrap. Let me know if there is a way to get the defines to wrap. Thanks.

According to the doc:

By default, WRAP is set to ON for HTML output, allowing each individual browser to define the width of each column
in the report. For PDF, PS, DHTML, PPT, and PPTX output, WRAP is set OFF by default. For these positioned output
formats in which the location of each item in the report is explicitly defined, WRAP = ON is not a valid value,
except when specified for ACROSSVALUE. For other elements of the report, such as headers, footers, titles, or data,
define the width of wrapped lines by using a numerical value, as in WRAP = n.

Syntax you need is something like this:

TYPE=REPORT, SQUEEZE=ON, WRAP=1.5,$

I just figured it out. Thanks for the help! I appreciate the reply and I will keep that in mind if I have any more issues.

This particular issue was that my defines themselves werent the right data type in the master. Once I fixed them it started working.
