good morning-

we are just starting to experiment with Dashboard, so please forgive my possible confusing explanation. I have set up a simple dashboard with a couple of reports. When I right-click on any of the reports to run them, I get this error: (FOC1400) SQLCODE IS 1005 (HEX: 000003ED)
(FOC1394) CONNECT FAILURE
: ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied

I'm not sure why, or what setting I have misconfigured. I was under the assumption that dashboard uses the same login credentials as MRE. Do I need to login to MRE first? I'm really not sure what I'm missing, so if someone could offer ideas, I would be most appreciative.

I think you will find that the adapter to be used must be configured with a Security value of Password Passthru. configure the Oracle
adapter with Security EXPLICIT
