How do I get a column header when I have a single SUM field with ACROSS? If you SUM 2 fields with ACROSS you get the headers but not when you SUM 1 field? I want to see column header SLS over my column in both cases below...
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES AS 'SLS'
BY CAR
ACROSS COUNTRY
END
versus
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES AS 'SLS'
RETAIL_COST AS 'RCOST'
BY CAR
ACROSS COUNTRY
END

What release are you using? As of release 8,

SET ACRSVRBTITL = ON

does what you want.

I suppose that's short for
"ACROSS verb-object titles"
-- which is certainly a challenge to sqz into 12 or fewer chars.

Is there somewhere where we can set ACRSVRBTITL in the Admin Console or whatever so it is set globally? Our InfoAssist users will want their across values to show even with 1 field.

8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.

I think you can set it in edasprof.prf, accessible from the Reporting Server Console.
