I feel like there is a command for this but i can't seem to find it. We have a need to dynamically delete a single permanent hold file after a RC job is done for garbage collection purposes.
Anyone know a command? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tim P.,

If your system hasn't turned it off you can issue DOS DELETE filename. In Unix you can do the same thing using !rm filename.

Try: APP DELETEF APPFOLDER HOLD MAS APP DELETEF APPFOLDER HOLD FTM
All in the WebFOCUS Keysheet from aviter.com.

I do not think the average user has the ability to issue DOS commands on their computers but i will find out. Thanks for the suggestion!
If this doesn't work out any others would be greatly appreciated.

I saw something about APP DELETEFILE command in 8.1.0.5 as well. Search for APP DELETE in the doc and see if that's something that might be useful.
