We just recently upgraded to version 7.7.03/7.7.04. We had the ability in 7.6.5 to look at Master files using Managed Reporting. We would log in to Managed Reporting, click on the Data Servers, click on Edaserve, click on Applications, then click on the application. It used to be that the Data folder had master files within it that we could see. However, once I get to the Data file, there don't seem to be any files within that folder, as it is not expandable. It works with DevStudio, just not from within Managed Reporting.

What am I missing?

thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Interesting. Learn something new everyday. Never realized you could do what you described. I can do it in 7.7.03.

Curious, what made you go from 7.7.03 to 7.7.04?

Sort of sounds like a privilege issue.

I wonder if something has been reported in a log, or if a client tracing is turned on, that something will be picked up.

Check you edasprof.prf file in your server.

You should see that folder in the path.

In MRE Administration, for the User's you want to give access to, the Data Servers box needs to be checked.
Then, when you log into MRE via the interface, Domain Builder will have Data Servers available...

thank you all for your responses. I thought it was a privilege issue as well, but I am not able to accecss them either, and I am the Administrator. I've checked edasprof.prf and the folder(s) are included in the APP PATH. I've also checked MR Administration and Data Servers is checked there as well for those users with that level of security.

Another thing to consider is the way the connection from MRE to the app folders works.

Have you turned tracing on for MRE and check if anything is happening ?

I opened a case with IBI, and they let me know that this is a known problem, and they are working on it.

Thanks again for all of your responses.
