What is the format syntax to show only the day portion (numeric) of a date? For instance, when I use HDS as the type this is displayed on my report: 01 00:00:00 I want it to only show: 1
If you are producing a report from a file you will invariably use a .mas file whether it is created on the fly or pre-existing.
If your fex has something like this -
SQL
SELECT field
FROM table
;
TABLE FILE SQLOUT
PRINT *
END
Then your .mas file is the file SQLOUT, however if your fex is like this -
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RCOST
BY COUNTRY
BY CAR
BY MODEL
Then it is the CAR.mas file.
Look within your code to see what .mas you are using then locate it and open it in (either) text editor or the gui tool. Look for the field name of MOVE_DATE making a note of the format(s) specified. Then let us know so that we can help you.
