Hi,
I have a Read/Write Grid in maintain. One of the column is of Datatype LOB in Database table and from maintain screen we are allowing user to add/Update the content of this column.I just wanted to know whether this is supported in maintain to map the DB column of LOB datatype? Please suggest.

Thanks in Advance.

There is very limited CLOB support in Maintain. Currently this is only supported for relational files.

I do not believe you can display a LOB field in a grid. If this field is a large alpha, then you could compute it to an A0 (unlimited alpha) and then display that in a the grid column.

Compute stk.lob/a0 = database field;

Then you could compute it back for the the update. There is currently no support for images or other data types that could be contains in LOBs but we are discussing how to make use of them.
