Hi

Is there anyway we can get space between columns in AHTML? Cell padding is available only for HTML.

I am able to do it with a define field but wanted to see if there is any better idea.

Thank you..

Adding spacing to AHTML reports is a real pain. This is what I have done in the past.

1. Add spaces to column titles. Requires SET SHOWBLANKS = ON

2. Use WRAP in stylesheet. TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=N1, WRAP=0.85,
Note: Sometimes I've ran into problems with WRAP not working in AHTML. To fix this I used the following syntax.
TYPE=DATA, COLUMN=N1, WRAP=0.85,
This is unsupported/incorrect synatax. Report Painter will definately remove this so be careful.

-* File prc_ahtml_spacing.fex

SET SHOWBLANKS = ON

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
     'CAR.BODY.SEATS'       AS '              Seats'
     'CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST' AS '        Dealer Cost'
     'CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST' AS '      Retailer Cost'
     'CAR.BODY.SALES'       AS '              Sales'
HEADING
""
FOOTING
""
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT AHTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = DEFLT,
