First time questioner, long time reader. Thanks everyone for sharing your tipsd and trick. Our current configuration has the LOG and TRACE files going to our local C drive on the server. We have been having space issues and I was wondering if we set WebFocus to write to a different drive on the same server. I would appreciate any advice you all may have. For logs: I don't think the location of the server-side log (edaprint.log) can be changed.
This info is for v5.3.2 and I think it also applies for versions 7.1.and 7.6.

Paul,
Reporting server traces are written to EDATEMP if I remember correctly. Not sure that you can change them to be written elsewhere.

EDATEMP is settable through your edaserve.cfg file in the srv7x/wfs/bin directory. If there is no reference yet to edatemp, just add it, like for instance: edatemp = d:\temp You'll need to restart the server for the change to take effect. After the restart all server temp files will be written to the new specified location.
