Hi,

I wanted to know if there's a way to deactivate submenus in Active report.I know there's a tab to activate/deactivate the active report menus or even use the code ALLOW-SORT property to be enabled/disabled.But can we disable the submenus like for eg if we want to get rid of CHART-line and keep only CHART-pie .

Also since the export menu does'nt have PDF and has only HTML,EXCEL and CSV,is there a way to add pdf to export menu?

Appreciate all your help and time with this.

Regards,
Puja

Puja,

You can certainly limit the functions available in the Active Report. In DevStudio open the Report Options screen, click on the Format Tab, and then click the ellipse next to the User Type drop-down. That will open the Customize User Interactivity window where you can check or uncheck a whole host of options.

Puja,

Did you resolve this issue? If so can you explain it here. I have a similar request. Here is mine, in an active report you can create a graph for this graph you can select Export. The client want to limit types. At present, they can export to Excel, Word, and Power Point. They want to remove the Power Point do to when you export to only the data is transferd to create the grapg and NOT the javascript(s) to present it in a nice manner.

On a side note: do you know how to FREEZE the Column titles in an Active Report? I can Freeze the columns but not the row.

Thanks,

David Sibert
