Hi forum readers,

A number of our clients have complained about the way that dates appear only once per each specific date when sorted and shown in reports. When they export the report to Excel, it leaves every cell underneath blank until the next change in date.

Does anyone know of a WebFocus setting which changes this default behavior and populates every cell?

-DEFAULT &WFFMT = 'HTML';
-SET &BYDISPLAY = IF &WFFMT IS 'HTML' THEN 'OFF' ELSE 'ON';
SET BYDISPLAY = &BYDISPLAY
then only when user chooses excel output (differnt from export), will they see all the values repeated.
