Is there a way to allow a user to go directly to a dashboard without having to log on.

We have microsft pass through authentication.

This works for MRE

I would like to create a favorite in a webbrowser for a user that would get him to his dashboard without entering user id and password.

if you're talking about trusted Authentication that's what we're using as well.

No one is ever prompted for a password to get into the dashboard, their windows login is passed.

There's a security manual that really draws out how to set this up. I would give direction but I really don't remember how we did it. It's in the webconsole of your reporting server.

Prod: Single Windows 2008 Server running Webfocus 7.7.03 Reporting server Web server IIS6/Tomcat, AS400 DB2 database.

You can take a look at Chapter 6 & 7 of the WebFOCUS Security & Administration Manual Version 7.13 This will show you how you can setup the dashboard to authenticate automatically against the Operating System credentials.
