Hi all,

I know that the syntax to create a synonym from a SQL Server Stored Procedure is
  CREATE SYNONYM APPLICATIONNAME/<SYNONYM NAME> FOR <STORED PROCEDURE NAME>
 DBMS SQLMSS STOREDPROCEDURE AT <CONNECTION NAME>
 END



Can somebody please tell me the syntax to create synonym manually from a SQL Server Stored Procedure when that Stored Procedure has (input)parameters ?

Waz,

We were not able to create Synonyms using UI from Stored Procedures in a database for so long now. We also opened a case with IBI about this. IBI tech support did a lot of research on this and came up with the solution of creating Synonyms manually (not from the UI) Roll Eyes . That worked for the Stored Procedures without Parameters.

After I opened a thread here on the forum, I did a little research of my own and found out what the problem was Idea . Now we can create Synonyms using UI from the problematic Stored Procedures in question.
