Just wondering, just how IE-centric WebFOCUS 7.6.x and Maintain really are? When I run my current pet Maintain project in Firefox 2, there's a number of controls that appear broken (e.g. missing scrollbars, incorrect margins, etc.) but the annoying long refresh that I see while using my app in IE 6 is not present with Firefox. In fact, the way Firefox refreshes forms almost looks like the app is using AJAX. In IE 6, the app looks like it should, of course, but form refreshes are annoying and slow.

Personally, I can't stand using IE for anything. Frowner Unfortunately, "the company" has never officially used anything but IE in the organization. I know what a pain doing cross browser CSS and JS is. I wonder if WebFOCUS will ever be more cross browser compatible in the future...

Maintain has Firefox improvements in 762 and some more in 764. The ocx grid is ocx microsoft technology so ... but we are looking into a more portable solution for that too.

As Brian mentions we having been testing Maintain in other browsers such as Opera and Safari. Any problems or discrepencies found are being addressed. If you do have some specific issues as you mention, please open a case and let us know. It will be helpful in making Maintain run more uniformly across browsers.

Thanks
