i want to ask about configuration steps to configure My E-mail to recive a notification if WF-Server is down. i set a profile inside Windows outlock mail profiler from : startMenue->settings->ControlPanel->Mail.
from WF-reporting server WebConsole: WorkSpace->Configuration->General->E-mail. i set my SMTP host and the sender e-mail. save and test. but unfortunatly i receive this error: [Send failed (connection error).].
is it possible to configure the SMTP credintials inside WF-Reporting server?
Don't think you can specify username/password in the server's config for email.
But, I have this configured for my own server (769 release) and it works fine. I get emails all the time. But when I try to send a test message I also get the connection failed error. And I know it works ...

Our mailserver is indeed exchange. And it has to listen on port 25. Oh, it could be that the anti-virus software blocks port 25. Check if that's the case.

Actually Port 25 is opened. but i think you configured the Win-admin user that responsible for running WF-Rserver in the Active diroctery domian and that user is granted to access the MS-Exchange Server . our mail server is hosted outside of our orgnization and we use web-mail host with mail account credential insted of Domain and MS-Exchange.
it seem this feature just work with Exchange server. but we need to confirm this with iBi production team.
