My first table has 4 columns and say it has values A,B,C,D etc.. My 2nd table has 1 column which will have all these values (A,B,C,D etc..) from 4 columns..
So I need to join first table (all 4 column values to be considered) and 2nd table to get more fields from 2nd table. I tried few ways but did not work out. Can anyone suggest me with an example?
Thanks a lot..This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
The answer varies based on the kinds of tables they are. Please specify.
One answer that is not necessarily good for relational tables is to do a define-based join whereby you would concatenate the 4 fields together creating a single field to use in the join.
Also search the forum as I am sure that there are lots of posts on this topic.
