Hi All,

I know I read this some where that the back slashes are removed when an &ere variable is use in WF 7.1.3, so front slashes can be use to resolve the problem, I have been looking for 2 days now and can't seem to find were I read this. Is this in writing in the tech support and I am over looking or was it just a dream.

Is this still a problem for 7.6.4? since we will be loading it in the near future.

Thanks
Chuck

If you dont use amperautoprompt then this works fine

DOS DIR C:\WF76\IBI\APPS\IFS

However under 713

DOS DIR C:\WF76\IBI\APPS\&DIR

will not work when you enter IFS as the response to the autoprompt.

You will have to code it as

DOS DIR C:\\WF76\\IBI\\APPS\\&DIR

However under 762 this problem has been fixed!
Well done IBI.

After all the highlighted problems with 7.6.2 (see this topic) it's nice to see that something has gone right!

Hammo1j, I guess that the old behaviour still works? It would be very cruel (not to mention time consuming making any changes) if it did not!
