Please provide any information on how to handle focus files on multiple volumes in JCL/TSO/FOCUS programs.

So this is a single FOCUS file across multiple volumes ?

Whats the stats on the FOCUS file ?

? FILE {focus file}, or one of the other FOCUS command to get info on the FOCUS file.

Data is one focus file with 3 segments.
In my JCL, it is coded as
PARENT DD DSN=FILE1
SEGMENT2 DD DSN=FILE2
SEGMENT3 DD DSN=FILE3

SEGMENT3 is having huge data and on multiple volumes. I forgot to mention that its XFOCUS files with LRECL & BLKSIZE as 16384.

I would suggest opening a case with Techsupport to find out if there are limitations on a segment on multiple volumes.

Goto http://www.informationbuilders.com. Hover over the menu option for Services and Support, then click on the Tech Support menu option.

On the next page you will see a "Contact Us" link which will give you contact information.

The detail within the "Before You Contact Support" link will give you a "heads up" on the information that you will require to hand before contacting support.
