I am using following to display the error message in a procedure:

....

-IF &FOCERRNUM NE 0 THEN GOTO WF_ERR;

.....

-WF_ERR
-SET &FOC_ERR_MSG = FEXERR(&FOCERRNUM,'A72');
-TYPE &FOC_ERR_MSG
-EXIT

But if any error is there following description is coming in the browser:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No HTML Output!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

0 ERROR AT OR NEAR LINE 8 IN PROCEDURE ADHOCRQ FOCEXEC *
(FOC003) THE FIELDNAME IS NOT RECOGNIZED: TITLE1
BYPASSING TO END OF COMMAND
(FOC009) INCOMPLETE REQUEST STATEMENT
Error in retrieving records

But I want only the Error number with its description.Could anyone tell me what should I do to remove the extra lines from the error?

Strictly speaking &FOCERRNUM [sic] should be enough to test but put in:

-IF &RETCODE GT 1 THEN GOTO WF_ERR ;
