Anyone else annoyed by the v7.6.5 console drop-down list behaviour? I click on one of the menu items, My Console or Workspace for instance, and my eyes don't have time to scan the drop-down list before it disappears? Am I slow or what?

No, Francis, you are not slow. It is annoying.

Also make you that you change your session expiration to a high number of minutes or your preferences will disappear on you.

Thanks for that, I'm not sure where to set the session expiration. Options have changed quite a bit between 5.3.2 and 7.6.5. I also find it annoying that sometimes you have to left-click and sometimes right-click. The people that designed this administration console should have taken a user interface course.

To change the session expiration, go to Workspace/Configuration/Listeners/HTTP and look at the properties. You will see SESSION_EXPIRATION as one of the options. You can make this a very large number. You will have to restart the server for this to take effect.

On this same configuration page, you can change the theme if you don't like the white background color. The option is on top of the left-hand frame.

Once you do that, you can go to My Console/Preferences and change the click behaviour to left click. It does disappear sometimes but this tends to work for me. I also click the new windows options.

I have found the menus to be very sensitive from the mouseover perspective. I know what options I want but if I don't move the mouse between the options carefully, the menu disappears. Very frustrating but totally understandable. I tend to have shortcuts for the different options that I want combined with IBIC variables so logon is also performed.

Yes, as long as you keep your mouse on the menu or submenu, these menus will stay alive. If you move the mouse off the menu then the menu will disappear within half a second, it seems. I've made it my habit to immediately move the mouse onto the menu, so it stays alive.
