[SOLVED] DB2 HOLD File missing MAS

Hi,
I have a FOC file that is generating a hold file on DB2 (As400).
When I run the report, the file gets generated with data in the correct library and with the right name.
However, the ACX and MAS files dont get generated and I get the following error:

(FOC348) ERROR WRITING HOLD FILE DESCRIPTION TO HOLD MASTER

Any help would be appreciated Big Grin...

This is my code:
APP HOLDMETA sandbox
SQL DB2 SET ISOLATION NC
TABLE FILE myFile
PRINT
     myFile.myFile.EHWHSE
     myFile.myFile.EHRECN
     myFile.myFile.EHERCN
     myFile.myFile.EHSUPL
WHERE ( myFile.myFile.EHWHSE EQ 07 ) AND ( myFile.myFile.EHSUPL EQ 'COLGTE' );
ON TABLE HOLD AS 'HSIUSRFLE/DCIFILE' FORMAT DB2
END

Is sandbox a valid app folder name? Try capitalizing sandbox to see if that makes a difference. Make a simple test to see if writing metadata to the sandbox app folder works at all:

APP HOLDMETA SANDBOX
-*
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS CARTEST
END

Thanks for the reply Dan.
Tried the capitalization: no difference.
Ran your CARS test script and the MAS file got created correctly.
Tried running the procedure from both MR and Server with same result.
What's funny is that the DB2 file gets created ok, and I'm able to manually create the synonym over the file following the error. It just doesn't want to create the MAS automatically... Confused

I'm suspecting that it might write the master in a directory HSIUSRFLE (instead of SANDBOX) once that directory exists.

Your suggestion worked! I created application HSIUSRFLE and ran my script. The master file got created in that application.
Great.
Now, how do I keep creating the DB400 file in library HSIUSRFLE but place the master file in the SANDBOX application?
