What do you mean by freeze? Something similar to the HFREEZE keyword available in HTML? If that's what you mean I don't think it would make sense to a PDF report which is page-based unlike HTML where the notion of pages does not really exist.

You are right I am looking for something like HFREEZE. My Page break for a complex report is after a certain calculation, so My page have around 100 lines when user scrol it down, they lose the heading part. I was wondering if tehre is any way to freeze headings in PDF file.

I very much doubt that you can.

It may be possible with some of the new active PDF stuff coming out though.

"Freezing" a heading only applies to HTML and the ability to scroll through the data. PDF reports have fixed pages and content so there is no concept of freezing a heading. The whole page is "frozen." If your pages have 100 lines, then THAT would be the problem, as a standard portrait page doesn't fit 100 lines (unless you us a very small font.)

A page heading appears at the top of every page, so I'm not understanding what how they would "lose the heading part." Can you show us an example of what you need? Maybe you're not asking the right question.

Darin
