Hi,

Recently we have been trying to lock down our Reporting Server security. We want to ensure that all report requests only go through the WebFocus Client. One of the ways we originally thought should work was the RESTRICT_TO_IP configuration. Currently our Reporting Server / Client are the same machine. So we tried to put the list to only list the IP of the localhost. However, upon doing so no one else could run any reports through the WebFocus dashboard/Portal.

Any advice on how to secure the Reporting server would be helpful, thanks.

Hi Ben,

Per our manager: this is not a developer issue, so it should be address by logging a case with Customer Support Services. Please call 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.

Cheers,

Kerry
