Hi,

I have a character field that contains a value 100 which I'm doing casting at sql server query level

CAST(field_name AS DECIMAL(8,2)) as col_name

to show the character field value as 100.00 and I could able to show that value in HTML output.

I'm using HTMLFORMTYPE = XLS to bring the samething in excel. But I could not. It was showing value 100 only instead of 100.00 and also I could not able to change the TITLETEXT of a sheet tab if I use HTMLFORMTYPE = XLS.

I want to show how it is displaying (100.00) in HTML output in the same way in Excel (100.00) but how is my question
Here is the code for reference

-* File contest.fex

SET CENT-ZERO          = ON
-INCLUDE CONNFILE
SELECT TOP 20 CAST(round(DDP.DSPN_Q,2)AS DECIMAL(18, 2)) AS DSPN_Q FROM PROD_V DDP;

TABLE FILE SQLOUT
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD
END

TABLE FILE HOLD
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT HTMTABLE
END

SET HTMLFORMTYPE = XLS

-HTMLFORM BEGIN

<HTML>

<BODY>

	<DIV STYLE="WIDTH:100%;HEIGHT:100%">
		!IBI.FIL.HOLD;
	</DIV>

</BODY>

</HTML>

-HTMLFORM END

Thanks in Advance

This is the normal behaviour of Excel - if the numeric column, defined with "General" format (which is the default), does not contain decimal values, it will not display the .00, unless you change the format to Numeric and set the number of decimal places to display.
