Hi

In i create the OLAP report, after that i changing the dimensions. If it is againg hit the database to get the data or it will get the data from Webfocus created OLAP .

When we create the multitimensional OLAP .In which location OLAP will be stored.

The answer to the first question is that it does indeed hit the data base again. WebFOCUS doesn't create an intermediate cube.

In 7.1.7 Ginny is absolutely correct.

However if you can upgrade to 7.6.7 or higher then you have the Caching capability available.

You still go back to the server to get the data but you will use the cached data and not
have to go back to the original data source.
