I'm looking at customizing the login page and these instructions seem off for 8.202

The custom home page when selected in Admin Console looks way different from this example. Has anyone been able to modify it for 8202 recently? Please share your thoughts!

Thank you Chuck, It seems like the package custom sign-on page is different from the one shown in PDF. That is the same link I had for the PDF. I'm wondering if the documentation needs to be updated.

I just found what I thought was the most recent doc and didn't really look at it or try it. Maybe you should open a case with techsupport and see if they can help you.

I just looked at this and it appears to be the same custom signin that was used with 8.1 but it is different than 8.0. I will try to customize it a little bit and report back in a couple of days. In the mean time I still suggest you open a case and have them verify the current doc is correct for 8.2.

As an FYI, I took a custom signin page I developed for a customer for version 8.0.09 and plugged it into 8.2.02 and it worked just fine. All I did was rename the existing signin folder under the \ibi\WebFOCUS82\config\web_resource directory to signin_orig and then copied my custom signin folder there. I stopped Apache tomcat and cleared the tomcat work directory and then restarted tomcat.
