I got this issue. I got this error when I copy fex file from one environment to another environment although I re-created the synonyms for all tables used in that report. Anyone has suggestion?

Hainguyen,

This might not be the same problem you have, but we used to have the error message.

If it takes to long to parse/make the 'master' you'll get a time-out. But it's only shown as 'error parsing master file'.

In our case.
A table request makes an hold file.

And the we use this hold file in a report.

The first step took too long ( because of the database ).

Hope it helps...

( could also be about authorisation ).
