How can I direct a DB2 hold file to an explicit library? The default library is not journaled and we want to put temp tables into a temp library. If I say HOLD AS library/table I get a the following java error:
ERROR: -12: Pcb2.: java.io.EOFException
If I say HOLD AS library.table I get SQL error 5016 (invalid name).
Any idea, anyone?
We're on IBM iSeries, WF 5.2.7

Basically the Journalled library needs to be the CURLIB of the server job
that can be accomplished prior to startup, or within the FEX
Here is an example of doing this within the fex:
!CHGCURLIB LIBRARYNAME
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT *
ON TABLE HOLD AS DB2CAR FORMAT DB2

END

I have tested this thoroughly and have found it to work.
Be aware that the LIBRAY used in the CHGCURLIB command must be journaled.
