Has anyone successfully wrote automated tests for a web focus product? I have tried both Selenium and QTP but neither tool can access the objects on the screen and Coded UI can only come up with x/y mouse clicks. Any help would be appreciated!

Are you trying to automate for WebFOCUS 7.6 or 8? WF 8 is a bindows interface, might need to run patches. But, for 7 versions which was just fine when i used QTP in the past. Which tool in WebFOCUS are you trying to automate, QTP couldn't identify?

Thanks for the response, we are using 8.007. QTP only sees a winobject and using fire fox I can get the xpath's but when I run the selenium test from Eclipse all I get are object not found errors.
I am trying to automate the reports for regression testing as well as verification of the data presented in the UI.
