Using InfoAssist:
Anyone know how to put a subtotal calculation into a Sub Header?
My data is subtotaled into 3 sections: Trades, Settlements, Forward Deposits. The header for each of these sections is currently
 <Section: <TOT.TradeCount
but the TOT.TradeCount is wrong - I want a count of how many rows of data are in each of these sections, rather than the number of trades in the entire report. (I used the Trades field because it is populated for every line regardless of section.)
So instead of the result "Trades : 86 " and "Settlements : 86 " and "Forward Deposits : 86" I want "Trades : 24" and "Settlements: 46" and Forward Deposits : 16".
I don't mind editing the code if I had a clue what function to use...
I have a TradeCount field I created that puts '1' on every line and successfully adds it up in the subtotal of that section, but the report requestor specifically asked for the count to be specified in the section header.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I would suggest you use ST. instead of TOT. in your SUBFOOT.

Yep, works in the sub footer, but not in the sub header.
Thank you, Daniel.
