Have you defined your SMTP info?
Here it is in 7.6.11: ReportCaster Server Configuration > General Tab > Email Delivery
Rename these files activation-1.1.1.jar and mail-1.4.2.jar (NOTE: actual names may have been different on site) and rename copies to activation.jar and mail.jar.
I just had this issue as well. Thanks to Partner Intelligence working with IBI and other clients to resolve the issue.

I did check the config file and the SMTP setup is correct.
Where are these .jar files located? I do not find them on my server.

Found and renamed the files. That resolved the issue. Thank you.

This issue with Email distribution is a problem with the Distribution Server running on Windows as a service. After an upgrade to release 7703 the ReportCaster Distribution Server Windows Service needs to be re-installed. This step is being added to the 7703 installation program. If you have already upgraded to release 7703 contact IBI Customer Support for instructions on how to re-install the service.
