Hi Nabarun Mondal,

Welcome to the WebFOCUS World.

I never used Express Trail Version, but it seems you are getting error from your webserver/tomcat.

1- Have it worked before?
2- Did you try a Windows reboot?
3- Are you able to access your own webserver? Try to access http://localhost:8080 ( or any port you choose )
4- Are you able to open WF server console?
5- Try http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps...ole.jsp?verification

I hope it helps.

Ricardo

Is WebFOCUS Express trail compatible with Windows 8?

It looks like your are having issues with web server.

Hello Nabarun Mondal,

Like Ricardo said, it sounds like your issue is with the web server. I believe Express utilizes a Tomcat server which is set up during Express installation. I would recommend making sure it is up and running. To do this on a Windows machine, go to Services (you can access this by typing in 'services' to the Start menu search bar) then locate Apache Tomcat for WebFOCUS. If it is started, restart it. If it is not, start it.

Let me know if this fixes your problem or if you need further assistance.

Thanks,
Emily McAllister
