[SOLVED] MySQL Report does not display values in fields in report

A MySQL report has been created but the values in the fields do not display in the report. For example, the fex is below.
TABLE FILE CUSTOMER
PRINT ID
COMPANY
END

In this case, the value in ID is a number and in Company is a company name. When this report is run, the value in the ID is in the ID fields but the same value is in the Company field rather than the company name. When only the Company is selected as in below (as a test), the field is blank.
TABLE FILE CUSTOMER
PRINT COMPANY
END

When the table is viewed within a different tool, values appear in the Company field. We have several tables within MySQL where this is the case but do have a few tables where this is not the case.

What can we do to display the values in the Company field? This is the first MySQL report we have created.

Thank you,
Geri

How did you create the WebFOCUS metadata for these tables? It is best done from the WebFOCUS Reporting Server Console.

I would read the Adapter Administration for UNIX, Windows, OpenVMS, i5/OS, and z/OS, Version 7 Release 6.11 document (DN4500931.1209). Make sure you're using the correct version of the WebFOCUS Data Adapter. Verify if the MySQL implementation is Unicode. Is the Company column VARCHAR? These are some of the things I'd look at before opening a case with IBI Texch Support.

We went through several troubleshooting steps and the issue was that when the fex is written as PCHOLD AS FORMAT EXCEL, the issues occur. When the save in the fex is written as PCHOLD AS FORMAT HTML or PCHOLD AS FORMAT EXL2K, the report displays the field values correctly when opened or saved.
