I have multiple sql reports in a .fex procedure. When I go to reference a report on a doc or html page it does not give me the option to select the actual report in the fex I want to reference.

Is there a way to do this or would it be wiser to separate the report out into different procedures?

What do you mean by go to reference a report on a doc or html page? Do you mean when you login, expand your content area and it lists your files / Reports? If you are expecting your different sql queries to be listed there, then yes you need 1 fex per query. Otherwise can you please expand on what you are doing/expecting?

When to go to create an HTML page or document, you add a report to the canvas. When you right click on the report object you get the option to reference an existing procedure. However, you can only select a fex, you can't specify the report within the fex.

Does that clear it up?

A FEX has to produce a single report (unless it's a compound report, in which case the entire FEX is treated as a single report).

If you run the (non-compound) FEX manually you should get the results of only one of the reports.

So in HTML composer you reference the FEX, and not the report.
