Hi,
We are using webFOCUS with SAP BI as source.
While doing the analysis on the MDX query generated by webFOCUS we found that the all filters used in webFOCUS sides are not getting passed on to the BI side.
That the properties of the characteristics are not getting passed on but only if I use the main characteristics it is getting passed.
For Example the field in Red color is getting passed but the property fields in green are not getting passed onto BI.

DIMENSION=[0CAR], CAPTION='Car', $
HIERARCHY=[0CAR], CAPTION='Car', HRY_DIMENSION=[0CAR], HRY_STRUCTURE=STANDARD, $

FIELDNAME=CAR_LEVEL_01, ALIAS=LEVEL01, USAGE=A60, ACTUAL=A60,
MISSING=ON,
TITLE='CAR Level 01 Member Caption',
WITHIN='*[0CAR]',
PROPERTY=CAPTION, $
FIELDNAME=CAR_NAME, ALIAS=MEMBER_NAME, USAGE=A10, ACTUAL=A10,
MISSING=ON,
TITLE='Car Member Name',
REFERENCE=CAR_LEVEL_01, PROPERTY=NAME, $

$ DIMENSION [0CAR] PROPERTIES
FIELDNAME=CAR_MEDIUM_NAME, ALIAS=50CAR, USAGE=A40, ACTUAL=A40,
MISSING=ON,
TITLE='Car Medium Name',
REFERENCE=**[0CAR], PROPERTY=UDA, $
FIELDNAME==CAR_GROUP__KEY_, ALIAS=20ACCNT_GRPV, USAGE=A4, ACTUAL=A4,
MISSING=ON,
TITLE='Car Account Group (Key)',
REFERENCE=**[0CAR], PROPERTY=UDA, $

Please advice us on this.

There may be a good reason for this, but I think only a specialist will be able to answer this question for you. And I'm not MDX-savvy enough to do that.
My advice is to open a case with IB techsupport to find out what's happening.
