I am using &FOCFOCEXEC to retrieve the report name, but my company is also wanting to pull the user name of the person who logged into the MR dashboard and printed the report. Anyone know what I can use?

Hi Ocean,

you can try

-SET &USR = CNCTUSR('A8');

Would I then put &USR in the footer with my &FOCFOCEXEC statement?

hmmm.... doesn't appear to work... I put the SET in, then put FOOTING
"Prepared on &DATETDMYY by &USR" in the page footer, but when I run it (even in MRE) it prompts for USR to be entered... also, when I try to go back into it in Report Painter, I get a parsing error saying the user is empty.

any thoughts?

ON,

Try

-SET &USR = GETUSER(USERID);

as an alternative.

Tony A - that gave me the administrators user name... I went back and checked Pete and had forgotten the "-" at the beginning -- it works now. Thanks to you both for your time and advice!
