I have a page where I select any report from drop box and display it in a frame on same page. This report is in html format.

I need a button that can generate excel output in a seperate window of same report that is in frame. Right now this button is generating report in html format because all the reports are set as html.

Any suggestions.
Thanks

You will have to change the report itself to have an option for type of output desired. Do you use developer studio to develop? If so look at user option for output that gives how. Then depending on your html page used to 'drive' the report, you'll need an entry for what to have the output generated in. Not sure if window and not window is an option.
