I've installed and set up a standalone (not Managed Reporting) environment at our site. First thing I noticed is that when a user logs on, he can see ALL of the library folders, even if they are not part of his security. However, he cannot see the content when he tries to expand a folder that he does not have access to, which is good. In our 7.7 ReportCaster, he would see ONLY those library category folders to which he has access. I haven't yet found a way to hide the unauthorized folders in reportcaster version 8 - does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks!

We did something similar and it was based on how we set the security on the parent folder so may want to look at your effective policy and see what permission is allowing them to see everything.
