Hi All,

I need to use the subtotal in a calculation for a financial report.

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
CAR.COMP.CAR
CAR.CARREC.MODEL
CAR.BODY.DEALER_COST
CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST
CAR.BODY.SALES
BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY

ON CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY SUBTOTAL AS 'SUBTOTAL'
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
END

In the above mentioned code, I am calculating the sub total on the grouped field.
I need the value of the subtotal in a formula. The new temporary field will then use (dealer_cost / subtotal of dealer cost @ country level)*sales.

Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in doing so.
Have also tried doing it in the subfoot.

Please do let me know any solutions.

The new temporary field, which uses the subtotal values in its calculations, needs to be shown as a detail field in the report.

The users are doing it in excel, but they want the report to do it.
