I created a new report from an existing report that has a macro template associated with it. The only difference in my new report and the existing report with the macro template is that I have less columns, and I have an across column. I used the same program name, but it was created under one of my folders in Dev Studio. When I execute the FEX using the macro template, Excel asks to Enable Macros and when I do the report comes up but the macro does not run. It is a macro that basically does formatting of the report. Is there something additional that I need to do other than use the macro template name in my FEX? The original FEX works fine and saves the file to: ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K TEMPLATE 'mrstemp2' SHEETNUMBER 1. Thanks.

I see three possibilities:

1. The macro is not received (as part of the file the browser opens).
2. It is received, but fails to run.
3. It runs, but has no effect on the report that the revised fex produces.

Check those out, and then perhaps someone on the Forum can help.

(CLOSED) Problem solved. The SHOWBLANKS=ON was causing the macro not to run.
