This messes up the Admin Console and I get "Unable to establish connection to WebFOCUS Administration Console. Contact your WebFOCUS Administrator":
&WFUSERy=&IBIC_user WFUSERy = &WFUSERy (pass)
Funny (sad?) thing is, in our production environment, I can use Admin Console to update the Custom Settings which are stored in site.wfs. But I can't, of course, edit the file itself.
So I can make a mess, but I can't clean it up!This message has been edited. Last edited by: Francis Mariani,

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
Are you not able to change the site.wfs file because of some restriction or are you not willing to change it in the file itself because it's not the proper way to do it? I'm afraid that if you have you locked out at the front door the only way in is through the back door . I agree that this is not a proper way . But as far as I know, it's the only way.
So how's your Tech Support different to any other one? Although I must say that the IB Tech Support are great of course and no, my comments have nothing to do with the fact that I once worked on the London desk
