I am doing a compound report, so I have the heading appear at the top of the first page but when I add on the 2nd section, the heading appears again and it appears in the middle of the page. So, I want to skip the headings on the 1st page and just have them appear on subsequent pages.
1. I've tried a -IF TABPAGENO NE 1 and skip the headings but it totally ignores the if statement
2. I've tried a WHEN statement at the bottom of the HEADING code and it did not like that at all and gave me an error. WHEN TABPAGENO NE 1
3. I tried putting a when statement in the stylesheet on the HEADING= lines but that just changed the formatting, it didn't drop the headings.

Suggestions?? This should be an easy problem, I just can't get it to work.

Thanks.

This one works,

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR MODEL BODYTYPE
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS TEST
END
-RUN

DEFINE FILE TEST
CNT/I2=IF COUNTRY EQ LAST COUNTRY THEN CNT ELSE CNT +1;
END

TABLE FILE TEST
HEADING
"TEST"
PRINT CAR MODEL BODYTYPE
CNT
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=HEADING,COLOR=WHITE,WHEN=CNT EQ 1,$
ENDSTYLE
END

the color=white did work. I had thought of this a couple of days ago but didn't think it would work because I have 5 or 6 lines for my heading and I thought it would be too much of a gap. Instead, I reduced the amount of room for my graph so that there is not a lot of blank space. Thanks for the suggestion.
