Tony, I have drilldown in excel, which inserts "%0d%0a" character in between the url. The same code works for HTML code.

Search for "webfocus excel drilldown %0d%0a", in google.

Ok, so now we have determined that you want to include a new-line and carriage-return in your drilldown. The obvious question is why? But I'm sure that you have a perfectly sensible answer.

However, why go to google to find these things, just use the FIND function within the forum.

Search on - Excel linefeed - and you will be presented with a list of current topics including this one.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Tony and Kerry, actually i dont want the linebreak in drilldown.

Finally found that the issue is with excel version. The link works fine with Excel2000 and inserts linebreak in Excel2002. Any idea why this happens?
